Reports say Saudi Arabia has introduced a three-month temporary work visa and it will be issued immediately without documents.

According to labour portal Qiwa, the move enables enterprises to issue a temporary Saudi work visa whereby the holder can work in the kingdom for three months from the entry date.

This temporary Saudi work visa can be extended for a similar period and it allows the holder to work for a specific period without the need to get a work permit and residency.

The request for a temporary Saudi work visa must be submitted by the business owner or a commissioner on Qiwa business. The visa is electronic and is valid within one year.

According to regulations for the temporary Saudi work visa, the enterprise must be active and have a valid commercial registration except for the activities that do not require commercial registration.

Also, the enterprises under the same unified number must not have any expired work permit. There should be a sufficient credit in the national unified number of the enterprise on the Absher account.

Insufficient balance in the unified number of the enterprise on Absher and rejection from the Interior Ministry could result in rejection of a request for the temporary Saudi work visa.

The temporary Saudi work visa balance package can be cancelled and government fees refunded. The cancellation request must be submitted by the business owner or a commissioner, according to Qiwa.
