Adil Raja, a retired major of the Pakistan Army, has been living in exile in the United Kingdom for the last few months.
He was allegedly forced to leave the country soon after the success of the regime change operation in Pakistan that resulted in ouster of Prime Minister Imran Khan from power on April 10, 2022.
Major (r) Adil Raja is known as a staunch supporter of Imran Khan, chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), and a strong critic of the top commanders of his own organisation, the Pakistan Army.
Currently living in hiding in the UK, Adil Raja is running a YouTube channel and regularly sharing some ‘inside stories’ allegedly involving the top generals of the Pakistan Army and senior officials of the country’s premier intelligence agency.
In his recent vlog, Adil Raja claimed that some elements in the army and its intelligence agency used top models and actresses of Pakistan as bait to record intimate videos of politicians from different political parties of the country.
Instead of naming the models and actresses who were allegedly used as bait in these private videos of many Pakistani politicians, Adil Raja just mentiones initials of their names such as SA, KK, MK and MH.
However, social media users were quick to figure out these initials as Sajal Aly, Kubra Khan, Mahira Khan and Mehwish Hayat. They started sharing pictures and videos of these actresses on social media with derogatory remarks.
As the scandal gained momentum on social media in Pakistan, Sajal Aly and Mehwish Hayat reacted to Adil Raja’s claims indirectly while Kubra Khan decided to take the retired major head on, telling him to retract his statement and apologise publiclly within three days or get ready to face a defamation suit in the UK.
Mahira Khan has not yet responded to Adil Raja’s claims and the criticism on socila media.
