LAHORE — A day after Prime Minister Imran Khan was removed from office through a no-confidence motion, the Pakistani showbiz industry expressed its support for the former prime minister in a very loud and clear manner.
They took to social media and sent their heart-warming messages to the former prime minister, who is also chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Imran Khan was sworn in as prime minister of Pakistan on August 18, 2018 and he was ousted from power on April 10, 2022. To be precise, Khan remained in office for three years, seven months and 23 days.
Khan was the third prime minister of Pakistan to face a no-confidence motion and the first to be removed through the vote of no-confidence.
