Recently, Muneeb Butt dropped a hint about his role in an upcoming project through a post on the social networking site Instagram.
He wrote on his Instagram handle, “Am really excited to announce that i am playing a very unique character of first trans Assistant Commissioner in my upcoming project. Something that breaks the stereotypes in our society.
“I had been anxiously waiting to reveal the character that I will be playing soon. It has been the most character role I have ever had to play, where I had to truly get out of my comfort zone. On the work front, Muneeb Butt is doing Geo TV drama “Qalandar” opposite young and new talent Komal Meer under the banner of the 7th Sky Entertainment.
Muneeb Butt has also worked in many other drama serials. His noteable TV dramas are “Daldal”,”Bandhi”,”Koi Chand Rakh”, “Kaisa Hai Naseeban”, “Yaariyan”, “Qarar” and “Baddua”.
In 2015, Muneeb Butt made his debut in the Pakistani film industry with the movie “Halla Gulla”.
In 2018, Muneeb Butt got married to famous model and actress Aiman Khan and they have a three-year-old daughter together.
