The Pak Suzuki Motors increased the prices of its motorcycles on Monday.

The increase in the prices of Suzuki motorcycles came at a time when the automobile industry in Pakistan is facing an uphill task in keeping itself afloat amid a free fall of the Pakistani rupee.

A notification sent by the company to its dealers says that new rates will be applicable from May 9 and will remain effective till further notice.

The retail prices are inclusive of the ex-factory product price and freight charges incurred on motorcycles, which “are delivered at your dealership premises”, says the notification.

The price of GD110s has been hiked to Rs335,000, GS150 to Rs364,000, GSX125 to Rs488,000, GR150 to Rs521,000 and GW250JP to Rs1.04 million, according to the notification.

The notification says, “The above prices are subject to change without any notice, and price at the time of delivery shall be applicable. Any Government tax applicable will be charged to the customer.”
