US President Donald Trump on Friday announced a peace deal between Bahrain and Israel.

He took to Twitter to announce this political development in the Middle East in these words, “Another HISTORIC breakthrough today! Our two GREAT friends Israel and the Kingdom of Bahrain agree to a Peace Deal – the second Arab country to make peace with Israel in 30 days!”

President Trump also shared the peace agreement, which Bahrain, Israel and the United States are the parties to.

US Ambassador to Iceland Jeffrey Ross Gunter praised the Trump Administration for successfully mediating a peace deal between Bahrain and Israel. He went one step ahead and said that President Trump deserves the Noble Peace Prize 2021 more than anyone else for bringing these two Arab countries closer.

He tweeted, “No one has ever done this! Twice in one month! @realDonaldTrump has brokered yet another Peace deal in the Middle East. This time it’s Bahrain & Israel. Historic & no one more deserving of the Noble Peace Prize 2021 than our President!”
