KARACHI – The second Test between Pakistan and New Zealand ended in a dramatic draw at the National Cricket Stadium in the port city on Friday.

In the first innings, New Zealand scored 449 runs at the loss of 10 wickets and Pakistan made 408 runs in response at the loss of all 10 wickets.

In the second innings, New Zealand declared their innings at 277 runs on the fifth and final day of the second Test match against Pakistan in Karachi. As New Zealand set a target of 319 runs to win, Pakistan could make only 304 runs at the loss of 9 wickets at the end of the last day.

From the Pakistani side, batsman Sarfaraz Ahmed scored another Test century on his home ground. This was his fourth century in 51 Test matches he has played so far.

As the match was moving towards its end and Pakistan were struggling at 298-9, Pakistani fast bowler Naseem Shah once again hit a beautiful six. He stayed on the crease until end of the match.
