NAB launches inquiry into corruption charges against Farah Khan

ISLAMABAD – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has launched an inquiry into corruption charges against Farah Shahzadi, who has been a close friend of former First Lady Bushra Bibi.

According to the NAB, Farah, who is also known by other names such as Farah Khan, Farah Gogi and Farah Gujjar, has been accused of accumulating assets beyond known sources of income, doing money laundering and keeping bank accounts in the name of different businesses.

The director general of the NAB Lahore has been assigned the inquiry into the corruption allegations against Farah as her bank account has seen a turnover of Rs847 million over the last three years.This turnover does not match her account profile, the NAB says.
