Already hit hard by a financial crisis and the coronavirus pandemic, the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) suffered another blow on Thursday.

In an unprecedented move, China on Thursday banned the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) for three weeks, forcing the national flag carrier of Pakistan to suspend all flights to the neighbouring country.

The move comes after 10 people travelling from Pakistan to China this week tested positive for coronavirus. China conducts coronavirus tests of all passengers arriving from abroad.
